Gravel Crushing Bid Opening

INVITATION TO BIDDERS
2024 GRAVEL CRUSHING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Valley County Board of Commissioners is now accepting proposals for 2024 GRAVEL CRUSHING. Two sites are planned for crushing; the Reddig Pit near Lustre (94,500 tons) and the Copenhaver Pit near Hinsdale (67,500 tons).

Sealed proposals will be received by the Valley County Board of County Commissioners at 501 Court Sq #1 Glasgow Mt 59230, until 10:00 AM MDT on January 9, 2024, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each Bid must be clearly marked, “GRAVEL CRUSHING BID ENCLOSED”.

The successful bidder will also be required to provide certificates of liability and workers compensation insurance (or exemption).
Contract documents may be examined or obtained at the Valley County Clerk and Recorders Office at 501 Court Sq., Glasgow Mt 59230.

No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of proposals, which is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. MDT on January 9, 2024. Bids may be mailed or delivered to the Valley County Board of County Commissioners, 501 Court Sq #1 Glasgow Mt 59230.

Valley County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities therein, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of time not to exceed sixty (60) days and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible proposal(s) determined to be in the best interests of Valley County.
